Dr. Megan Smith
Dr. Megan Smith knew she wanted to work with teeth before she even hit middle school. She was the kid who described people by their smiles, not their hair. When her own dentist let her watch a tooth repair up close in fourth grade, that was it. She went on to dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona, spent three years practicing as a general dentist, and then completed her periodontal residency at the University of Washington. That path gives her an unusually well-rounded perspective on how your gum health fits into the bigger picture.
Outside the office, Dr. Smith volunteers with Smile Outreach International and has provided dental care in Tonga, Tanzania, Fiji, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. She’s the kind of doctor who cares deeply about what she does — and makes sure you never feel like you should be stressed about it.
